ROXIE SCHESCKE’S VISION
Success…A great Job…We all strive to find that.

For many people today, the options seem limited, and not all that appealing. However, Roxie Schescke, President, Indian Eyes, LLC is a perfect example of demonstrating that you can choose how you’ll live, where you’ll live and who you’ll spend your life with.

For women in particular, options can seem limited; they are generally faced with earning less than men for their time on the job. Minority women sometimes face additional challenges. Add to the mix, a small business owner in a very large and competitive business arena, a woman with the drive to be a role model to many, the desire to feel a sense of personal fulfillment by helping others and the struggle for success becomes more complex.

As a child, times were very challenging for Roxie growing up in a very prejudiced and opinionated community. Of course, this environment would have an impact on anyone’s self-esteem; making you doubt if you could have a meaningful future and a sense of personal accomplishment.

However, Roxie’s passion for making a difference for people and her sense of obligation to be a good leader gave her the perseverance to hold on to her Vision.

She kept her focus and was not afraid to do whatever it took to learn and earn the tools needed to eventually own her own business; from stepping into her steel-toed work boots to wearing many hats… including her hard hat!

Over the years, she has learned what it takes to ensure the project is on schedule from cradle to grave. She calculated how to stay on budget in order to keep the reputation needed to be awarded the next contract. She knows the importance of continuing education because she’s seen the growth it’s brought to her career.

Roxie knows sacrifices all to well; living in a double car garage made into their living quarters and office. It housed herself and her husband; he is her partner not only in life but business as well. Roxie admits there was very little space, a small budget and a small bank account that left you with a small amount of patience. Roxie confides it sounds like a country song and felt like it as well.

Roxie is a very savvy, determined business woman who earned the depth of knowledge and personal resources needed to be successful. Remember the small amount of patience? Well, that must grow along with your determination for success. You must find the energy and strength of mind within you and not be afraid to jump in where needed.

Roxie demonstrated that right after Hurricane Katrina. She got involved, landed contracts, and led her teams to ensure the reputation of the business and her integrity left a winning mark. She stayed right in the pulse of everything from the snakes and insects to sharing living quarters with thousands. Two years later she is able to proudly say, “My company has a great reputation for success on this project with zero incidents.”

Roxie leaves us with this:

Somewhere along the way, we adapted the belief that the quality of our life is based on circumstances, rather than choice. I strongly believe that the life we are living today is based on the choices we made yesterday, and if we want a different life, we must have the courage to make new choices and seek the opportunities to be What Ever You Want To Be!

The Small Business Programs have become the vehicle that’s given millions of individuals an opportunity to create a life and business they and their families that follow them can love. Vision to Impact the Lives of Others…

This program will only prove to be a successful if we do not rely on our credentials to succeed but educate ourselves in all areas needed to perform; and if awarded that opportunity of success, be the Role Model that is a leading advocate for improving the quality of life for all Americans, especially the health, education and future of the children!

I, Roxie Schescke, President of Indian Eyes, LLC is committed to just that and would love to share my success in how we won contracts in less then three years. My hope is to have a positive influential impact on fellow Small Businesses and their Potential for Success!

To have a successful business plan and see where you are going you have to visualize what will it takes to get there. You do not have to be a Harvard graduate to win contracts; but you do have to know how to perform the contract if you Win It!

Imagine for a moment that you have the power to be What Ever You Want To Be!

What Would You Be?

* I would like to thank my wonderful husband, Tim that truly is the most wonderful partner in life and in business that one could ask for; and my very successful friends for being there and teaming with Indian Eyes during opportunities’ that proved beneficial for all parties concerned.
